Ideally, any cat you would like to surrender to Happy Tails Pet Rescue should be:
- Spayed or neutered
- Up to date on Rabies & FVRCP vaccines
- Treated with a de-wormer & a flea preventative
- Tested for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) & Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). We are unable to accept cats that tested positive for FeLV, by may be able to take in a cat with FIV.
- Accompanied by medical records from a veterinarian showing that the cat is in good health, free of any contagious diseases, and documenting vaccinations, tests, surgeries, etc.
